Easy Grid-Based Download of Maps You can try out a simpler approach for downloading and organizing offline maps, choosing large squares at a time. Visualize what you have and what you need. We offer a variety of both worldwide and country-specific maps that can be downloaded for offline use based on a yearly membership level:

 <li>Silver membership for accessing slope-shaded topo maps of the US and US Forest Service maps</li>
 <li>Gold membership for using Accuterra Maps, featuring new, readable maps of the US and the World, along with BackRoads MapBook Basemap in Canada</li>

Vector Topo Maps for the World The default map, BackCountry World map, offers a set of Vector topo maps for the world. These vector tiled maps provide crisp multilevel detail, allowing you to download large chunks of the earth's surface swiftly and compactly. The BackCountry topo map for the world can be viewed both within the app and on <a href="https://www.bcnavxe.com">bcnavxe.com</a>, with a convenient process for installing them in large blocks.

GPS Navigation Utilize the GPS feature on a modern-day smartphone to view your position on a moving offline map. Easily find your way to waypoints marked on the map or created by entering coordinates into the search bar.

Planning In The Cloud The website <a href="https://www.bcnavxe.com">bcnavxe.com</a> serves as the web interface for BackCountry Navigator XE, enabling you to plot points, routes, and boundaries for trips. These can be downloaded on demand within the mobile app. Additionally, you can transfer trips created in the mobile app to the cloud for reviewing or sharing purposes.

Cross-Platform Compatibility BackCountry Navigator XE functions on Android and has a newer app available on iOS, along with a web app at <a href="https://www.bcnavxe.com">bcnavxe.com</a>.

iOS app is available through <a href="Appstore">Appstore</a>.
